The Recently Used Stamp enhancement in the Mark Up Tool enables users to apply a recently used stamp with all its details to another artefact. This enhancement brings efficiency, accuracy and time savings when there is a need to apply same information to a group of drawings.
How to apply recently used stamps.
In the DMS for iOS application, tapping on the stamp icon will bring up the Select a Stamp modal.
If a user has recently used stamps on one artefact, these will appear at top of the list under Recently Used when a user opens other artefact in the same bucket.
Recently used stamps will be auto-filled with previously used data. This allows users to re-use the same stamp and stamp data on multiple artefacts.
The auto-filled data is maintained per device, per user and per bucket. In the following scenarios users are to expect the following:
- User uses another device
- Given that the auto-filled data is unique for every device the user uses, then the user will see different auto-filled data - Users change their bucket
- Given that the stamps are unique to every bucket, then the users will see different stamps and auto-filled data
- Different users share the same device
- Given that the auto-filled data is unique for every user, then each user will see different auto-filled data
In the event that the user uninstalls/reinstalls the iOS app, the auto-filled data will be lost.
