RedEyeDMS Search offers Visualised Metadata sets to allow users to search in a visually structured way. Administrators can structure these selectable sets to suit their requirements.
With Visualised Metadata, you can search and filter your artefacts in a quick and easy manner. Metadata assigned to your bucket is represented in a mock 'folder' or 'tree' style.
Visualised Metadata is part of the search function of RedEyeDMS. The values that are displayed will be specific to your organisation – this is because it's a representation of the metadata associated to the artefacts within your bucket.
If you think of it similar to having pre-set search metadata filters it can reduce the time you spend on searching allowing you to quicky locate and action results. In the example below, by clicking on the three dots icon you can see the metadata represented as folders.
In the example, one of the Metadata fields being represented as a folder is Property Operations. Property Operations is then broken down to sub-folders (Building, Cleaning, Doors, Electrical etc.). If you were to click on Electrical, that would return a result of artefacts that have those metadata fields.
To use this feature, contact your Bucket Administrator and they will be able to activate it for your bucket.
